I'll be honest, not my favorite style of hip-hop. But one can't deny the recording quality, I like that this dude is actually rapping. No mumbling. Five stars for doing it with your chest.

That’s hot

Really thought 2:16 was a standout. Very subtle touches but it worked so well. Same with moments like 2:36

DigitalProdigy responds:

hey thanks so much. I have been so busy working on the contest, epic trailer.
the summer animation jam 5 and the video game music challenge
both are almost finished!! whew!!
thanks again for listening I really appreciate
it!!

This is absolutely gorgeous. Mixing is buttery smooth. Reminds me of Bowie kind of. Great stuff.

Ugh this is so tasty. Love how tight the guitars are with everything else in it. Wish I could get you to do all my mixes for me haha. Always so envious of how tight your stuff is! The melody on this one is sick and I love that verse riff. Always feels like it's building to those big chorus moments

EclipseProduction responds:

You're too kind man!

A proper brickwall limiter is one of the best purchases I've made if you aint got one. Really shines a light on what's going on during the early phases of putting a track together. This one needs fixed in a few spots tbh tho.

Love the space age kind of sound going in this. Very cool

PinguFrog responds:

Thanks! It's the first time I used a theremin!

I can't say much other than this fucks.

This feels a little more R&B or Pop than rock to me. But genre debates aside, this is awesome. Very clear audio. I really like the ambience to it. As for mixing critiques it sounds good to me.

Not sure I'd put this in rock, but it's fucking sick

Not bad, needs a little more though. Not bad work on the guitar solo, it sounds like midi, but not the shrill midi that gives one the need to shiver ya know? I like the melody, and I like what you did with the intro and outro!

JustDen responds:

thanks!

I'll be honest, for me, the spoken word, rap, doesn't work for me personally (just preference). But the minute you start singing, it's magic in this one. Really nice voice. Love the ambience, and the piano with the choir chants 1:15 is probably one of my favorite sections in music I've ever heard in my life. Fav'd for sure.
